The Barn’s August Week of Prayer
August 14, 2020 - August 21, 2020
The Barn Vineyard is hosting Week One of a concentrated prayer initiative from August 14 through August 21. All Jesus-followers in our region are invited to join us!
Our focus in this first week is Averting the plans of the enemy, calling in God’s agenda, and praying protection over the local geographical areas we serve.
Most people these days can feel the spiritual tension in the atmosphere. Many prophetic voices have confirmed that a battle is raging in the heavenly realms. The outcome will affect the future of our world. Our “YES!” matters to the armies of Heaven as they make war on the kingdom of darkness.
You can say your “YES!” to Heaven by:
+ Increasing your personal times of prayer
+ Prayer walking your neighborhood, workplace, etc.
+ Fasting (forgoing food, media, speech, etc. for a time)
+ Joining others at scheduled gatherings
+ Scheduling your own gathering for prayer
The Barn has scheduled daily in-person, conference call, or ZOOM gatherings in a wide variety of styles and locations, at different times of day, with different focuses and creative options. All outdoor events have an indoor backup plan and will proceed rain or shine. Prayer times will not follow any political agenda, only the agenda of Heaven.
