Proclamations 2020

@ The Barn

We Believe Your Words Have Power

We encourage everyone who calls The Barn home to join us in declaring these powerful words of proclamation in 2020! We believe that as we proclaim truth over our lives, we will see mountains moved!

You will decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And light will shine on your ways. – Job 22.28

Marriage Proclamation

For a Married Couple to say together:

We declare that we are one and that we walk in unity in spirit, mind, and body. We honor each other and we care about each other’s happiness. We honor each other’s visions for life. We work on agreeing with each other and let no division come between us. We place ourselves daily in Your keeping because You are our Rock and our foundation. The enemy has no room in our hearts or our behavior towards each other. We are guided by the Holy Spirit to love each other. We proclaim that we will grow deeper in love with each other with each passing day as we grow deeper in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We proclaim that our love and intimacy will increase as the days go by, that we will always desire each other and not another man or woman. We declare that this marriage whom God has put together no other person or circumstance will separate.

We declare this marriage will fulfill the plans that God intended it to, that we together will walk out the call of God on our lives individually and as a couple. We declare that our marriage will leave a legacy on earth that will inspire our family and others to want to know God our Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Young Adult Proclamation

I declare I am loved by God, and that His purpose for my life will come to fruition. As I tune the affection of my heart to His purposes for my life, He will guide my steps. I believe the Lord is for me, and any mountain in my way that I speak to, He will move it for me. I live from glory to glory. Anything I set my hands to will succeed and far surpass any expectation, because my God is with me.

I proclaim that anywhere my feet step, the Lord has given to me. And though I may study, work, or live in the presence of my enemies, the presence of my God will protect and comfort me. He who is me is greater than he who is in the world. I am destined for greatness, and the plans of my enemies for my life will completely fail.

I declare that this year will be full of growing in intimacy with God. I will step into greater levels of friendship and trust, and because of this, I will love myself more as well.
